    The Pastry Cook assists in producing all pastries for the hotel operations under the guidance of the Pastry Chef and Assistant Pastry Chef.

    **Here's what you will do:**

    Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting

    Places orders, does inventory, and rotates the product for service including food storage

    Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc. and make appropriate orders within budget

    **Here's what's needed for the job:**

    2 + years of bakery experience in a restaurant kitchen

    Able to stand on feet for multiple hours (up to 9 hours)

    Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

    Able to read English and communicate efficiently

    Able to move fast to keep up with the pace of service.

    Obtain a current Food Handlers permit

    **Must be able to work on both Saturday and Sunday and some holidays**
