BAKER/PASTRY PRODUCTION

  • Bakers are responsible for preparing and executing bakery recipes to standard by following process and policies of all operational standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- The creation production and execution of laminated doughs, breads, and pastries Produce a wide range of breads and European style pastries Ensure that all bakery items are prepared to specifications and standards in a timely manner/execute recipes and builds Maintain a high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two years experience as a Baker in a highvolume bakery
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of fermentation, lamination, proofing and folding techniques
  • A knowledge of math and science as it pertains to baking and bread production
  • Experience operating a sheeter, mixer, proofer and industrial baking ovens in addition to all bakery equipment
  • The capacity to maintain a consistent pace throughout your shift to meet deadlines for product deliveries
  • Available for fulltime bakery production schedule beginning at 3:00am, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • A valid food handler's sanitation certification
  • The ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach and walk. Must be able to work extended periods of time on your feet and be able to lift 50 pounds.
    COMPENSATION

Compensation range:
$25.00 -$28.00 Hourly. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
