    We are looking for a Finance Systems Engineering Lead to join our Finance team.

    In this role, you will take ownership of financial data pipelines, reporting systems, and internal tools that support Finance operations.

    As we continue to scale, you will optimize our financial tech stack and automate manual processes to build scalable financial systems.

    Responsibilities:
    Design, build and maintain large-scale financial data pipelines, analytics platforms, and internal tools
    Partner with finance stakeholders to understand needs and requirements for financial systems
    Ensure accuracy, reliability and timeliness of financial data and reporting
    Optimize efficiency and costs of financial data workflows and cloud infrastructure
    Automate manual financial processes through engineering solutions
    Monitor systems for compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
    Develop scalable solutions to support company growth
    You may be a good fit if you:

    Have 6+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting financial systems, in addition to managing other software engineers
    Have experience with financial data pipelines, analytics, reporting, and cloud optimization
    Have experience implementing financial systems, including HRIS and Planning systems
    Have proficiency in Python and experience building APIs
    Enjoy mentoring and developing more junior engineers
    Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Have ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

    Strong candidates may also:
    Have finance or accounting experience
    Have experience optimizing complex financial data workflows
    Have implemented automation solutions for financial processes
    Have experience ensuring compliance for financial systems
    Have experience with NetSuite, P2P systems, and Planning systems
    Annual Salary (USD)

    The expected salary range for this position is $320k - $405k USD.
    Logistics

    Location-based hybrid policy:

    Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Anthropic's compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits.

    We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.

    Equity

    • On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higherthanaverage equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.
    US Benefits


    The following benefits are for our US-based employees: - Optional equity donation matching at a 3:1 ratio, up to 50% of your equity grant.

    - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and all your dependents k) plan with 4% matching. - 21 weeks of paid parental leave.

    - Unlimited PTO – most staff take between 4-6 weeks each year, sometimes more - Stipends for education, home office improvements, commuting, and wellness.

    • This compensation and benefits information is based on Anthropic's good faith estimate for this position as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. Employees based outside of the UK or US will receive a different benefits package. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including where you place on our internal performance ladders, which is based on factors including past work experience, relevant education, and performance on our interviews or in a work trial.
