    Who We Want:

    Responsible for inspection, installation and repair of machines used for production and within the tool room and maintenance machining areas. In addition, build and re-build equipment for various manufacturing needs.

    What You'll Do:

  • Follow specified maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and tools
  • Utilize Plex to document appropriate downtime codes
  • Troubleshoot, isolate and repair manufacturing machinery & equipment
  • Use the following equipment safely: Basic Level Hand ToolsHand and Surface GrindersWheel PullerTorchesPipe ThreaderHydraulic JackWeldersScissor LiftBoom LiftLatheForkliftMilling MachineDrill Presses
  • Basic troubleshooting of both welding equipment and systems
  • Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and tools
  • Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality
  • Basic knowledge of welding applications (MIG, Spot, Stud, etc.)
  • Complete and manage work orders via the Plex systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and provide input on updates to preventative maintenance schedules (with guidance from a Weld Maintenance Mechanic level II or level III)
  • Basic level robotic experience (robot movements, navigate/troubleshoot common basic level issues utilizing the teach pendant
  • Basic level knowledge of lubrication processes (functionality, correct type, when to use)
  • Ability to use common hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, feeler gages, etc)

    • When and Where:

    This will be an A Shift / 5:00AM-3:30PMMonday-Thursday position located at our Plant in Pontiac, Michigan.

  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
