Description
Serve as a Project Engineer to support the construction program administrated by a Resident Office.Perform construction contract administration duties required to ensure contracts are completed in accordance with contract requirements.
Ensure quality of construction through direct field surveillance and management of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program.
Directly manage the cost, quality and timeliness of the construction projects assigned.
Apply a variety of construction methods and techniques to provide solutions to unique and novel engineering problems.
Address issues involving multiple engineering disciplines and develop solutions to facilitate execution of contractual requirements for a variety of projects.
Plan and execute projects based on broad office policies, procedures and guidance.Prepare data and reports updating progress status and communicate potentially controversial issues with recommended solutions to the supervisor and stakeholder.
Develop 3-phase inspections, Preparatory/ Initial/ Follow-Up, and conduct site visits to identify deficiencies and provide recommended corrective action.
