Description
About KITAs a "research university in the Helmholtz Association", KIT creates and imparts knowledge for society and the environment, uniquely combining the traditions of a renowned technical university and a significant research institution.
Global exchange, international research projects, numerous global collaborations, and cultural diversity shape and enrich life and work at KIT.
Students of the Integrated Engineering program with a focus on Project Engineering have a strong interdisciplinary orientation. The foundations of the program include content from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, digitalization, and business administration on one hand, and project and conflict management, negotiation skills, law, simulation games, and an introduction to modern media technology on the other hand.
Students at the Dual University of Mannheim, Eppelheim campus, learn about the reality in companies and what future engineers should be able to do through exceptional projects. This includes projects within the program, where the entire class transforms into a complete company with different hierarchies and responsibilities. Here, students learn to organize themselves and others, recognize the strengths of different characters and personalities in a team, and use them effectively.
