Description

For the Department of Road Construction, we are looking for a Project Engineer (m/f/d) for Street Design. Our city is moving towards the future - and you can be a part of it. Heilbronn am Neckar is the dynamic central city of the Heilbronn-Franken region. Economic strength, educational diversity, cultural energy, and social engagement are the hallmarks of our city.

Your tasks:

You will contribute to the redesign of existing streets and squares as part of the municipal urban renewal program, ensuring high design quality in our city center and a livable Heilbronn.

You will be responsible for the planning and construction of sustainable development in future-oriented new residential areas. You will work on the development of the modern Neckarbogen district on the former Bundesgartenschau site.

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering with a focus on road planning/construction, landscape architecture, or a comparable degree relevant to the field.

Ideally, you have in-depth expertise in street design/road planning.

You have professional experience, preferably in the municipal sector, or you are a dedicated entry-level professional who can quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.

You work independently and in a structured manner, with a high degree of creativity and innovation. You have a cooperative and convincing manner when dealing with citizens and committees and possess good communication skills. You enjoy working constructively in a team and in an interdisciplinary manner.
