    Job Description:


    We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with extensive experience in managing Exadata environments to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, coupled with expertise in Exadata-specific features and functionalities.


    Responsibilities :
    Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases on Exadata infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
    Manage storage administration, Smart Scan, and other Exadata-specific features to enhance database efficiency.
    Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
    Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for deployment, monitoring, and management of Exadata environments.
    Work with Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer for seamless integration and management of database services.
    Implement database security measures such as Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and access controls to safeguard sensitive data.
    Develop and maintain automation scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, or Python to streamline routine tasks and processes.
    Monitor database performance and conduct optimization activities to ensure high availability and efficiency.
    Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity and facilitate disaster recovery.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
    Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization analysis to support scalability and growth of Oracle/Exadata environments.
    Stay updated on the latest Oracle and Exadata technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
    Participate in database migration, upgrade, and consolidation projects as required.
    Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and standards.
    Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.


    Qualifications :
    Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
    Proficiency in managing Exadata environments with a deep understanding of storage administration, Smart Scan, and Exadata-specific features.
    Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and other high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
    Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for deployment, monitoring, and management of database environments.
    Familiarity with Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer for seamless integration and management of database services.
    Solid understanding of database security principles and best practices, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
    Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, or Python for automation and task scripting.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    Oracle and AWS Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Cloud Practitioner) are a plus.
