    Job Description

    New Mexico Donor Services is seeking a Manager of Quality and Compliance to join our team This position is responsible for the execution of the Quality Management system and ensuring both quality and performance improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

    Below are some of the key accountabilities this position will hold:

    1. Assists in managing and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and industry driven accreditations. Maintains current licensing, registration, and accreditation with agencies.
    2. Oversees quality deliverables and practices such as policy deviations and nonconformances, audits, training, document control, adverse reactions, PDSA, and CA/PA.
    3. Provides daily management, training, and scheduling of quality personnel.
    4. Promotes the expectation of accurate medical records and data elements with applicable regulations and standards.
    5. Oversees the organ chart review and audit process. Ensures correction assignments are made by the appropriate staff to ensure a comprehensive and complete donor record. Oversees organ chart disposition and ensure monthly chart metrics and goals by staff.
    6. Manages the audit system.
    7. Collaborates in the development and analysis of statistical measurements of activity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
    8. Oversees the review and investigation of deviations and occurrence reports. Completes the root cause analysis and finalizes reporting as appropriate.
    9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    New employees must have their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by their potential start date or be able to supply proof of vaccination.

    The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

    1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an OPO quality systems experience with medical records
    2. 3+ years of experience with a quality management system
    3. CQIA, CPTC, CTBS, CEBT preferred
    4. Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
