- Lead worship during weekly services, special events, and other gatherings
- Select and prepare appropriate songs and musical arrangements for each service
- Coordinate with musicians, vocalists, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of worship services
- Provide direction and guidance to the worship team, including rehearsals and training sessions
- Foster an environment of creativity and excellence in worship through leadership and mentorship
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to align the worship experience with the overall vision and message of the church
- Engage with the congregation during worship, encouraging participation and creating a sense of unity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Proficient in playing at least one instrument (e.g., guitar, piano, drums)
- Excellent vocal ability with the capability to lead congregational singing
- Knowledgeable in various styles of worship music
- Skilled in educating and mentoring musicians and vocalists
- Effective communication skills to connect with the congregation during worship
- Strong spiritual foundation and understanding of the purpose of worship
