Key Responsibilities
Oversees the recruitment process in English and Spanish for new hires including reviewing resumes, setting up interviews, arranging pre-employment screening, scheduling orientation, and ensuring that all pre-hire paperwork and process is complete prior to start date.
Acts as point of contact for new hires to answer questions and drive engagement throughout onboarding.Assists in scheduling appropriate orientation dates for new hires.
Reviews pre-employment screening results and communicates with any outliers.
Inputs initial profile in HR database.
Proactively engages in interdepartmental communication to provide ongoing status of new hire onboarding and to ensure that onboarding flows smoothly.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and performance.
Coordinate and administer ADP information payroll and benefits.Work with HR Manager to complete and document HR compliance.
Position Skills Needed:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times.
Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to learn new software and proprietary software.
Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is desired.
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Formal Education/Training.
High school diploma/GED.
Candidates must meet the companys hiring criteria to include a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening
