We are looking for a Diplom Engineer or Master of Engineering/Science (m/f/d) to work independently in the Department of Traffic Planning.
Are you a passionate traffic planner (m/f/d) who wants to actively contribute to the transition in mobility and can handle conflicting interests in mobility? Then you are in the right place at our City Planning Office
At the City Planning Office, we are currently working on all levels to make Newark "fit for the future". The topic of mobility is located in the Department of Traffic Planning.
The department develops strategic plans and concepts for all modes of transportation, with a current focus on strengthening sustainable transportation.
The team in the Department of Traffic Planning currently consists of 12 employees.Position:

What are your main tasks?
- Supervision and further development of the traffic model, including the necessary data structure
- Conducting and supervising traffic noise calculations and corresponding noise studies in the context of urban planning
- Coordination and implementation of noise reduction planning, including the creation of noise action plans
- Participation in air pollution control planning
- Leading procurement procedures in the field of public transportation
