Commercial Project Manager
Our client is an engineering, design, and construction company offering industrial services. They are a top-notch industrial contractor with in-house resources, delivering deployable solutions. This company excels as a multi-craft industrial contractor, providing efficiency through a single point of contact for tracking and monitoring tasks and projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, safe, and high-quality completion.
Located in Augusta, Georgia, serving the entire CSRA and beyond.
Experience in industrial settings is a must.
Required experience in managing industrial projects covering mechanical, electrical, and structural aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to define project scope, objectives, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets and ensure financial compliance.
- Secure and manage all necessary resources, including internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Oversee all project activities from design to commissioning.
- Mitigate risks and develop contingency plans for unforeseen challenges.
- Implement effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and identify improvement areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction science, engineering, architecture, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial construction project management experience.
- Proven track record of on-time, on-budget project deliveries.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- OSHA training.
- Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM) designation is a plus.
