    This position is part of the Bulk Chemical Manufacturing Department located in Ames, Iowa and will work onsite 4 days per week This position is second shift Monday through Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am.


    In this role, you will:
    Manufacture bulk solutions, bulk powders, microbiological media and dyes. Use a wide variety of different raw materials including concentrated acids, bases, heavy metals, oxidizers, and flammable materials.
    Perform production controls and adjust bulk reagents to meet product specifications and ensure quality.

    Comply with company safety policies including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, safe transportation, and handling of bulk chemicals and keep accurate records for production and inventory.

    Are you qualified? 1 year of completed college chemistry with lab required1 year scientific production, process, or lab technician experience required or Bachelor of Science degree in lieu of experience requiredUS ONLY:
    The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

    An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

    The compensation range for this role is $ $27.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
    We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
