Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze performance metrics and other data to identify sector trends and areas of risks and opportunities to enable continuous improvement of processes and work products.
  • Develop and implement a project plan on a selected risk area to perform process rigor or a thorough evaluation of a work product.
  • Interview stakeholders to assess compliance to documented processes and analyze opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Analyze outcomes of the process rigor/evaluation to provide recommendations and collaborate with process owners for continuous improvement.
  • Continually refine the riskbased assessment framework based on the results of each riskbased assessment.
  • Provide recommendations to automate processes leveraging AI, digitization or other workflows to achieve cost/schedule savings.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Quality or other related Operations roles with a Bachelor's degree; (OR 4+ years with a Master's degree; OR 2+ Years with PhD)
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments
  • Experience in analyzing data
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:


  • SAP knowledge or experience
  • Experience developing webbased tools (e.g., ServiceNow or Power Apps)
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and CMMI standards

Salary Range:
$76,600 - $133,100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
