    Position Summary:


    The Marketing Coordinator - Digital Content will use a blend of creative and technical skills to collaboratively strengthen the online presence and impact of Houston Healthcare.

    This position is responsible for brand management, social media, company website, digital advertising, and full cycle content creation to support the strategic goals of Houston Healthcare.

    Responsible for creating written and visual messaging for internal and external audiences.

    Oversees online reputation management efforts including patient review requests/responses, facility and provider listings, Google business pages, and search engine optimization.

    Serves as primary lead for Houston Healthcare social media accounts, including coordinating/creating annual calendar and strategies, monitoring accounts, and oversight of social media management tools.

    Facilitates email marketing efforts, to include tracking and reporting analytics across all marketing channels. Compiles content and facilitates full cycle development to publish internal organizational newsletter.

    Provides content and updates for digital publications and communications such as the HHC Intranet site, graphic design projects, video production, and photography.

    Job duties will occasionally require travel to other parts of Houston County and surrounding areas. Responsible for all other projects and duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:

    Education & Training:
    Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, English, Business, Marketing, or related field.


    Experience:
    Three (3) years' experience in the field of Marketing, English, Journalism, Healthcare Advertising, or related field.


    Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
    None.


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to create original content through writing, speaking, graphic design, photo, and video. Proficient with content creation software including Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Canva. Strong WordPress based Content Management System (CMS) skills + HMTL knowledge. Skilled in Google Business Suite use and optimization. Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge in Search Engine Optimization principles and tactics. Ability to utilize Constant Contact or Mail Chimp for digital communications. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability to facilitate a high standard of excellence in day to day production. Proven ability to understand, simplify, and effectively communicate complex information. Responsible for upholding Houston Healthcare brand standards, organizational mission, and values.
