We are currently seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our team.This Hybrid role is a great opportunity for a talented Accountant with 2-3 years in corporate or public accounting to be involved in supporting a variety of business platforms with responsibilities including:
Perform detailed General Ledger (GL) analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across various real estate platforms.
Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards for review by management.
Lead month-end closing processes with precision and efficiency.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and alignment with operational objectives.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Support audits and tax compliance activities as needed.
Stay informed of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance.
Other projects as needed include work supporting Development Projects, Job Cost Budgets, etc.
Requirements
Experience and requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with exposure to public accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
