- Provide Engineering Support to NUWC Code 15 SONAR and Sensors department.
- Conduct SONAR operability tests in laboratory and sea environments.
- Troubleshoot and reconfigure SONAR Systems.
- Participate in shipboard testing/repair/installation.
- Offer SONAR support for deployed Submarines.
- Inspect, Evaluate, Troubleshoot, and Repair electronic assemblies.
- Develop local work instructions.
- Conduct receipt inspection of materials.
- Maintain material inventories.
- Prepare reports and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to Obtain/Maintain Secret Clearance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to operate electronic test equipment.
- Ability to read electronics schematics.
- Capable of precision hand soldering of electronic components.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- 10+ Years of electronics experience.
- Knowledge of Naval Technical Manuals and IETMs.
- Qualified Sonar Operator with advanced technical training.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software.
