    Mohican will be REOPENING MAY 16TH We have been undergoing extensive renovations and are looking to hire for our Summer season.

    Training will be given before opening.


    Job Summary:
    The Front Desk Agent at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, Ohio is a crucial member of our hospitality team.

    This individual will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all hotel guests and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

    As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for them at our lodge.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    This is a full-time or part time, individual contributor position with a starting salary of $12.50 per hour.

    The chosen candidate will be paid biweekly and will also be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts.

    Mohican also offers a meal plan, discounted stays at other Great Ohio Lodges.


    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and on the phone
    • Assist guests with checkin and checkout procedures
    • Register guests into the hotel system and assign rooms according to their preferences and availability
    • Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries or requests
    • Handle guest complaints and issues while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
    • Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
    • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and functional
    • Provide information about the lodge's amenities, local attractions, and restaurants to guests
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
    • Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel management systems
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
    • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
    • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
