The OpportunityThe
Marketing Analyst Strategy Intern
provides the Marketing team with useful competitive, customer and industry analytics in order to help the company make strategic marketing decisions.
primarily focuses on conducting actionable market research and analyses related to consumers, competitors, products and services. This intern will lead the development of a customer council to build relationships and gain valuable insights over time. This intern will also analyze prior marketing efforts, customer feedback, and in-house learnings to make tactical recommendations.
Leveraging their learnings, this position will identify strengths, pain points (along with recommending solutions), propose tactical changes in marketing projects and campaigns, determine industry and customer priorities and trends plus corresponding marketing opportunities.
Help develop key personas and identify key opportunities and strengths of – plus actionable improvements to - the overall customer experience, based on the personas, to drive improved conversion, retention, and customer outcomes across verticals.
What You'll DoConduct market research and analysis on the industry, including consumers, competitors, products/ services and trends
Make relevant actionable recommendations
Help strategize and develop a "Customer Council" to gain valuable insights on InCharge initiatives and to build and grow key relationships
Analyze past marketing efforts, plus customer inputs across teams and channels, to assess impact vs effort and cost; provide forward-looking insights to optimize marketing ROI
Identify opportunities and strengths related to competitive position, customer and industry trends and priorities
Help develop customer personas and map customer journey in collaboration with various teams and stakeholders; identify pain points and recommend prioritized opportunities for optimization by vertical
Develop and present an executive-level summary of learnings and recommendations
Your Experience and Capabilities
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across levels of the organization, customer, and press.
Experience with market analysis; prefer to also offer familiarity with persona development and customer journey mapping.
Basic understanding of market, competitive and customer analysis principles and strategies.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing focus and execution.
Experience with G4, Heap, Salesforce preferred; Power BI experience is a plus.
