- Follow patient safety guidelines diligently
- Verify medication doses and process prescriptions within established protocols
- Practice aseptic technique and infection control for sterile product preparation
- Maintain adequate medication and supply levels according to par levels or patient requirements
- Demonstrate leadership by coordinating technician workload and managing shift transitions
- Engage in patient, family, and caregiver education
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information
- Bachelor's degree or Ph.D in Pharmacy required
- RPH certification from the state of Texas required
- 2+ years hospital staff pharmacist experience preferred
- 40 hours of training in compounding sterile products accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education or the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists preferred
