We want you to applyJob Summary and Qualifications:
As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will assist pharmacists in the functions of the department by procuring, preparing and distributing pharmaceuticals to standard policies.
- You will accurately prepare sterile products for pharmacist check
- You will accurately maintain computer patient profiles by entering medication orders and other patient information
- You will accurately prepare and label medications for final check and dispensing by the Pharmacist
- You will promptly respond to request and customer needs
- You will deliver medications and provide other distributional services and quality monitoring for patient care and ancillary areas
- You will generate computer reports/patient records and maintain paper flow
- You will participate in the quality improvement activities of the department
- You will perform activities related to medication and supply purchasing, inventory control and distribution according to approved policies and procedures
- You will contribute to an efficient, productive workflow within the Pharmacy
What qualifications you will need:
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) Pharmacy Technician Registration must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Sterile Compound Aseptic Tech must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- High School Graduate / GED
