For the winter semester 2024/25, we are looking to fill a professorship (m/f/d) in the field of tourism management at the IU International University in Dresden, initially limited to 2 years, on a full-time or part-time basis, starting on

Your tasks

You will represent the field of tourism management in teaching and research in the practice-integrated bachelor's program and together with us, train the new generation of professionals (for more insights, see the module handbook).

You will create and lead lectures and be responsible for the individual support of our dual students during their exams and when writing their final theses.

You will provide practical and well-founded basic knowledge in tourism management and be able to train our students in areas such as travel provider and travel distribution management, event management, hotel management, system gastronomy, and business models in the tourism industry.

You will be involved in the creative development of teaching formats within the didactic concept of the IU for the dual study program and further develop it in collegial cooperation.
