    Your Role and Impact

    As the Senior Architectural Designer, you will utilize advanced architectural principles to carry out design computations, draft technical reports, design plans, and details. This position requires a high level of autonomy, enabling you to make significant project decisions based on your expertise and managerial approval. Proficiency in necessary software, minimal supervision from senior staff, and not mandating a license are key aspects of this role.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Write specifications, review submittals, coordinate project submissions, and engage with clients.
    • Prepare complex multi-discipline drawing sets for assigned projects, collaborating with various design and administrative teams.
    • Promote quality assurance processes to enhance deliverables and minimize design errors, subsequently reducing claims. Review and coordinate technical work prior to submission.
    • Research and comprehend code compliance requirements for designated projects.
    • Create standard details independently under supervisor guidance.
    • Assist with design calculations, quantity assessments, technical specification reviews, and cost estimations.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in a Technical discipline is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of ten years in Architectural roles.
    • Licensure: Not required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Display a strong willingness to expand knowledge and take on new challenges.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook), effective communication skills, strong presentation abilities, self-motivation, and mentoring capabilities are essential.
    • Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and related software programs is a plus.
