Senior Cloud Data Engineer - Orlando, United States - gpac
Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of a cloud-based data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Be part of the GCP community, contributing to knowledge exchange.
- Assist with developing end-to-end data pipelines.
- Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Apply project management methodologies for on-time delivery.
- Mentor junior colleagues.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in advanced statistical analysis.
- 3+ years of hands-on cloud data engineering experience.
- Experience in healthcare data and Google Data Products.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and NoSQL modern data stores.
- Ability to explain data opportunities and limitations.
Education and Skills Preferred:
- Advanced Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with AI / ML in healthcare and oncology or tumor registry data.
- Licenses in Google Data Engineer and PMI certifications.
