    The Business Risk and Control Sr Analyst iThe CO Business Risk Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy of the organization.

    Requires both Risk Management and Program Management Experience. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise.

    Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and stakeholders.

    Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the risk management of the business.

    Responsibilities:


    Supporting multiple risk and control programs for the organization including defining the strategy, approach, processes, quality, tools and reporting that provide risk management consistency and excellence.

    Works closely with business partners on findings and makes recommendations on improving practices.
    Ensures proper governance and controls exist in areas of review.

    Supports the examination of procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulations and procedure requirementsConducts MCA testing of key controls to ensure process effectiveness.

    Serves as day-to-day liaison for Lines of Defense Challenges, managing RFIs and IA requests.
    Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Acts as Risk SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

    Serves as Program Manager for the team's In-Business Risk programsAssists in preparing presentations on risk topics for presentation to various stakeholdersSupports performing risk assessments when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


    Qualifications:
    3-5 years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls and Program Management5+ years' experience in financial services.

    Highly proficient in Excelability to data mine and use Excel formulas/pivot tables a mustExcellent Presentation SkillsProven experience managing time sensitive highly impact tasks/projectProven time and task management skills with the ability to multi-task effectivelyAbility to extract and review program results and provide management with an effective synopsis and recommendations for enhancements where neededEffective communication with Risk Management seniors and across functionsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsEffective organizational influencing skills required.

    Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical detailsCan exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

    Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
    $87, $130,920.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
