The Ecobat Resources Freiberg GmbH is a long-standing and highly successful international company that specializes in environmentally friendly extraction of lead and PPCompounds from recycled materials, as well as the safe disposal of hazardous waste.

We are currently seeking a candidate to join our team as an apprentice (m/f/d) in production technology, starting in 2024.


What would factories be without machines and equipment? It's hard to imagine, as every product would have to be made without technical support.

But before production machines can start their work, they must be developed, tested, and put into operation. This is where the work of a production technologist begins.

It ends when the machines reliably perform their tasks and the end products, such as cars, computers, or clothing, are produced on time.

During the apprenticeship as a production technologist, you will become an expert in the commissioning of production facilities.

What does the apprenticeship involve?

  • Commissioning of production facilities, setting them up, and preparing for production startup
  • Implementing new processes, setting up production facilities, determining process parameters, and ensuring production capability of the facilities
  • Programming and parameterizing production facilities
  • Organizing logistical processes for products, tools, process media, and waste materials
  • Monitoring process flows, conducting processrelated tests, and creating documentation
  • Identifying potential for improvement in process flows
  • Identifying and documenting process and quality deviations, and taking measures to address them
