Are you a Physical Therapist that is tired of the grind? Are you tired of seeing 30+ patients a day, not spending the time you would like to with your patients? Are you tired of being micr-managed and what hours you have to work? Then Healing Hands Physical Therapy and Bodywork is the place for you.

Healing Hands Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced and caring physical therapist to join our growing clinic. This individual will act as our patients' partner and advocate on their road to recovery, from diagnosis to the completion of rehabilitation. Patient quality of life, return to function, and overall safety should be the sole focus of any candidate applying for this position.

We are a unique concierge physical therapy clinic based in Reno, NV. Our focus is to help our patients achieve their goals, as fast as possible. We take a holistic approach to healing and treat the entire human body, mind, and soul.

We provide SOLUTION based care utilizing Supplements, Body Work, Dry Needling, and StemWave to create a path for success. Our goal at Healing Hands PT and Body Work is to facilitate healing and restore efficient movement and comfort as quickly as possible. We achieve this through proven hands-on techniques, one-on-one therapy, individualized rehabilitation programs and treatment plans designed specifically for each client.

Physical Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

Meet with patients and identify needs and goals
Devise detailed treatment plans to achieve needs and goals
Exercise personal judgment (i.e., make modifications as needed) during treatment execution to ensure patient safety and continued progress
Motivate and encourage patients throughout treatment process
Learn to use and oversee Stemwave treatments
Devise detailed exercise techniques, stretches, and self-care programs for patients to complete between sessions
Evaluate effects of therapy and keep detailed records of patient appointments and progress
Communicate with patients' physicians regularly to ensure consistent care
Reduce patients' need for medications and surgeries by improving range of motion, strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance
Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
Maintain patient confidentiality

Physical Therapist Requirements and Qualifications

Proven work ethic and dedication to patient care throughout the recovery process
Ability to communicate and adapt to different patients and personalities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A high level of professionalism and personal ethics
Extensive education in the field of physical therapy as well as clinical experience
A thorough knowledge of current treatment practices
A valid licence to practice physical therapy
CPR and first aid certification a plus
