We are partnered with an elite insurance firm that is looking to hire an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with management, serving as a business-focused, value-added partner to support the 1st Line of Defense and 2nd Line of Defense activities aimed at maturing our enterprise risk management programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead annual and ad-hoc risk assessments across the organization, fostering collaboration with local risk teams where necessary.
Work closely with ERM Program leads, business unit and function leaders, internal audit, and compliance to enhance identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting for ERM programs.
Coordinate and lead initiatives regarding enterprise risk policies and practices, ensuring a cohesive and complimentary structure across global ERM policies and procedures.
Provide oversight to ensure the implementation of appropriate internal controls and practices within business units, ensuring compliance with risk policies.
Actively participate in various risk committees or represent risk on other committees, potentially serving as a coordinator or secretary for risk committees where needed.
Engage in cross-functional working groups covering multiple risk areas such as operational risk, market risk, credit risk, insurance, strategic risk, or other project-related risks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CRM, FRM) is a plus.
Proven experience in enterprise risk management, collaborating with various stakeholders and local risk teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data for risk reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization.
Familiarity with risk policies, internal controls, and industry best practices.
Ability to lead initiatives and work independently, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
