Your tasks

We are looking for an intern (m/f/diverse) for our Global Travel Management department in Downsville, starting in September. This is a 6-month mandatory internship, with the possibility to combine it with a voluntary study-related internship of up to 3 months. The work can be done both on-site and remotely.

You will directly support the Head of Global Travel Management and the Country Travel Manager Germany and their teams. During your time with us, you will gain a broad insight into the entire ecosystem of travel management, including TMCs (Travel Management Companies), OBTs (Online Booking Tools), Meetings & Events, providers of air, rail, and ground transportation, hotels, Duty of Care, analysis, travel policy, and new trends in travel and mobility.

Your tasks include:
  • Supporting the expansion of the global Travel Management community of all participating countries
  • Managing measures for process and cost optimization in the management of air, hotel, car rental, rail, and travel agency services together with the team
  • Creating presentations, evaluations, and analyses for tender processes and supporting regular reporting
  • Planning and designing internal communication measures
  • Providing information and intranet news articles for our travelers and other stakeholders of global Travel Management
