    Job Summary:


    Under the direction of the VP of ASC Development and in conjunction with the center's leadership team, is responsible for supporting the Virtua Joint Venture centers in the achievement of all regulatory and budgetary metrics.

    This role provides guidance to ASC leadership team to effectively run a self-sufficient, free standing ambulatory surgery center and all of its processes such as; front end registration, medical credentialing, coding, transcription, accounts receivables, monthly financial reporting, supply chain management, vendor relationships; service and supply contracting, physician relations, clinical care, customer satisfaction and business development.


    Position Responsibilities:
    In conjunction with the ASC leadership develops strategies to solve operational concerns within each center. Act as a liaison to each ASC between Virtua Senior Leadership and each center's leadership team.

    Partners with the Board and Medical Director to establish key performance measures and quality metrics and to evaluate outcomes.

    Facilitates aspects of business planning and growth including developing market share.

    Research and develop Vendor relationships to assist with GPO formation and maintain vendor contacts to assist the centers with capital supply needs, general supplies and cost containment.

    Assures compliance with applicable legal and regulatory agencies.

    Actively participate in governing body meetings when requested. Responsible for maintaining the ongoing relationships with physician investors. Provides interim Administrator support.

    Creates a collaborative, supportive, professional environment between staff, physicians, centers and Virtua.


    Position Qualifications Required:

    Required Experience:
    Five plus years of experience in an administrative leadership role in a multidisciplinary team healthcare setting. Experience in surgical operations preferred.


    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Management or equivalent ASC leadership experience required.


    Training / Certification / Licensure:
    RN preferred
