Application Engineer for Smart Home/Building Automation - Moores Mill, United States - Apex Solutions
Description
Your responsibilities:
- Technical consulting for sun protection manufacturers, system integrators, specialist planners, and interested architects with a focus on selecting suitable drives for building control technology and SmartHome systems at Moores Mill
- Planning of functional and endurance tests in customer applications
- Training of service employees and key account managers in the area of our electronic motor controls, radio and bus systems
- Handling of technical inquiries and complaints
- Supporting product development in testing new products
Your profile:
- Completed electrical engineering degree or technician training
- Several years of professional experience in the field of building automation with SmartHome and bus systems such as KNX, SMI, Loxone, etc.
- Training as an electrician is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of mechanical drives and basic knowledge of measurement technology is advantageous
- Negotiation skills in German and good knowledge of English are essential
- Confident in dealing with customers
- Willingness to travel
