    • We are currently representing a leading Metal & Glass specialist in the New York City area.
    • They have a very rich history in the New York construction sector, working on some of the city's most recognisable buildings.
    • They are now looking to further expand their team by taking on an Senior Project Engineer .
    About the Role
    • Project Engineer plays a crucial role in collaborating with sales staff, fellow engineers, architects, consultants, and construction managers to deliver high-quality designs
    • This role requires effective communication skills, both oral and written, particularly in the interpretation of architectural details and the production of shop drawings
    • Project Engineer is responsible for drafting designs, managing projects, conducting field measurements, and ensuring accurate data entry
    • Drafting designs using AutoCAD software
    • Interpretation of architectural details and drawings to inform design decisions
    • Project management to ensure timely completion and adherence to specifications
    • Effective communication in both technical and business terms both oral and written
    • Conducting field measurements and detailing
    • Accurate data entry to maintain project documentation
    • Able to work independently with a high level of accuracy
    • Be the Lead on complex projects regarding retrofit and new construction
