    A global Chemical Manufacturing company who is a leading water-soluble polymer manufacturer, is on the lookout for a Sr Project Engineer.

    The company serves municipal water treatment facilities and the manufacturing, mining, oil, natural gas, personal care and agricultural industries.


    Responsibilities:
    Deliver projects that are on time, on budget, and deliverables meeting or exceeding expectations. Projects will range in scope and complexity from minor facility maintenance projects to major capital initiatives
    Mentoring junior level engineers and able to lead small groups working on multiple projects
    Responsible for requesting appropriate allocations of resources (employees, contractors, consultants, etc.) and leading resources to support work level demands in keeping with budgetary constraints
    Assist in development of equipment specification (instrument, material of constructions, valves, pumps, major and minor equipment).

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
    8+ years of related experience in engineering design of chemical plants and/or project management in a plant environment.
    Knowledge of piping and equipment codes, and product safety standards, etc.
    Hands-on doer. Participative engineering style. Self Starter.
