The Oswayo Valley School District has an opening for a custodian position available May 2024. This position is a full-time, 12-month permanent position. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and previous custodial/maintenance experience preferred. This position requires general cleaning responsibilities throughout the building, including, but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping. Snow removal will also be a responsibility when needed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more; have the ability to stand on feet for extended periods; physically able to lift, bend, stoop, and reach; climb ladders; engage in overhead work; and capable of performing manual labor.
May be responsible for safety and security of the building and other duties as assigned.Interested applicants should apply online at and must be able to obtain Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearance certifications.
