The IMD Institute for Medical Diagnostics GmbH is part of the Medicover Group, a European company in the healthcare sector with approximately 20,000 employees.

For the past 25 years, IMD laboratories in Germany have been providing comprehensive medical diagnostic expertise to general practitioners and hospitals nationwide.

As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on interface communication, laboratory data information systems, and workflow optimization at our locations in Berlin, Greifswald, Rostock, or Frankfurt/Oder.

Responsibilities:

Administration of laboratory information systems and communication servers
Setting up LDT, HL7, and IHE interfaces
Clarifying technical requirements and ensuring the preparation of offers in collaboration with the departments
Identifying, documenting, evaluating risks and avoidance strategies, and initiating measures
Independent planning and coordination of interface projects
Communication with external service providers, the master data team, and the departments of the laboratory locations
Internal documentation for quality assurance
Onsite visits to laboratory locations

Qualifications:

Education in the field of IT, interface development and implementation, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience, ideally in project management in the IT sector and in healthcare
Knowledge of standards for data exchange between healthcare IT systems (LDT, HL7, IHE)
Indepth experience with laboratory processes and requirements
Knowledge of laboratory systems and their parameterization is an advantage
