    Description
    The Senior Project Cost Controller will be responsible for ensuring effective cost management of the company's financial resources.

    The ideal candidate will contribute to the effective running of projects and comprises responsibility for, but not limited to cost performance status and financial reporting.


    primary responsabilities:


    Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective management and delivery of the cost control activities within assigned projectsInterface with budget owners to review budgets and commitments and to challenge forecastsPrepare cost and financial input to the PMSR (Project Monthly Status Report)Prepare Client cost reportsAnalyze variances from As Sold to current Estimate At Completion (EAC) by building a detailed monthly analysis of variances from prior forecastEstablish and maintain project coding WBS/NWA structure in SAP and EcoSysPerform monthly accounting closing and post project cost accruals and unbilled Revenue in SAP and EcoSysPrepare and issue all project invoices and maintain invoice register updated.

    Prepare the Revenue Reconciliation monthlyPrepare project cash flows in support of the Group's Treasury requirements for cash flow forecastingParticipate in estimation of Variation Orders, prepare supporting data and documentation and evaluate Variation Orders performanceEnsure compliance with all relevant policies, processes and procedures and strive for continual improvement and the application of best practiceThis Job Description must not be interpreted as a complete summary of job responsibilities or limitation of job holder accountability.

    REQUIREMENTS:


    Bachelor degree in Cost Management, Finance, Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost controlExperience in SAP and EcoSys (or any other Project Cost Management software)Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially ExcelExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Comfortable with numbers manipulationAbility to identify areas for process improvementsAble to work autonomouslyGeneral support to less experienced Cost ControllersMust be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills to meet tight deadlinesStrong desire for delivering the best possible product at all time,Ability to adapt to the needs of the company with various ad-hoc analysis skillsLOCATIONHouston, TexasBeware Recruitment ScamsPlease be on your guard against recruitment scams.
