    Description

    Job Summary:

    This role is responsible for coordinating the planning & forecasting for Apotex globally, ensuring annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly updates are submitted on time, conducting comprehensive financial analysis on the full P&L and tracking performance.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis from sales, claims and forecast information.
    • Collaborate with other teams and departments to understand their inputs, provide direction and guidance and ensure overall assumptions are aligned.
    • Analyze data and develop strategies to support accrual and forecasting methodologies.
    • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and other process documentation.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Track financial performance and metrics.
    • Continuously improve accrual methodologies, forecasting processes, procedures and systems.
    • Work with other Finance staff and senior management to accomplish timelines, address issues and pursue process improvements.
    • Work with all levels of management to resolve issues and answer questions
    • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

    • Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.
    • All other relevant duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    Education

    • Bachelor degree in finance or accounting

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present concepts at all levels in an organization, particularly at the senior management level
    • Strong project management and system improvement skills
    • Able to work independently in a proactive manner
    • Quick learner and team player
    • Advanced skills in Excel required
    • Advanced skills in SAP/ERP system a plus

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years business/financial analysis experience required (Pharmaceutical / Consumer Packaged Goods experience highly preferred)
