Position:
Finance & Accounting Analyst**
Job Type: Full-time; Exempt;


Start Date:
Immediate**
Hours: Minimum 40 Hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekends as required.


Willingness to travel:

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions; however, travel will not be a core part of this role.


Work Authorization:
Ability to work in the U.S. without any restrictions.


Work Location:
Miami, Florida.


Education:
Bachelor's in Finance and/or Accounting; other majors considered if relevant.


Pay:
Commensurate with experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Under guidance from the CFO, create and manage corporate and project budgets and cashflows, interpret financial data, compile monthly finance reports, compile financial projection reports and other related processes as needed.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable process, including the scheduling of wires, working with bank partners to manage payment discrepancies, and general oversight of payroll.
  • Over time, develop and maintain internal P&L statements and cash flow forecasts.
  • Support the broader preparation of internal and external financial statements.
  • Maintain records of invoices in SharePoint by year, associated project, and expense type.
  • Support broader organizational effort to maintain files in an orderly manner.
  • Support the development and implementation of new accounting systems, as necessary.
  • Support the maintenance of company relationships with external lenders, organizing and providing data on internal corporate finance needs and supporting the due diligence process for client projects where company plays an active role in arranging financing.
  • Maintain daily data entry of Accounts Payable classify by project and expense type.
  • Manage monthly transaction reports by downloading monthly statements and classify by project and expense type, performing reconciliations when needed.
  • Maintain and update monthly outflow of employee payroll and consultant expenses.
  • Maintain SAP Concur for employee expense reimbursements and approval of travel requests.
  • Manage Audit records for W2 and 1099 information to be correct towards the yearend.
  • Assist in creating a yearend management report and other ad hoc presentations as required.
  • Assist regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for completing the company's credit card authorization forms, such as hotel reservations, venue bookings, and conference room reservations.
  • Oversee periodic accounts receivable tasks, such as tracking disbursements.
  • Handle the submission of wire confirmations to vendors or internal teams as needed.
  • Regularly check the office mailroom biweekly for incoming correspondences, including invoices, bank statements, and tax documents.
  • Monitor and replenish credit card balances for the internal team upon approval from the CFO.
  • Support in restocking inventory and placing orders for the Miami headquarters office when necessary.
  • Ensure that all credits, adjustments, and refunds are accurately documented and notified to the CFO before entering them into the receivable records.
  • Provide timely assistance and solutions to internal team members encountering company credit card issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Must have a strong ability to manipulate excel spreadsheets such as working with IF Functions and Pivot tables, etc.
  • Must demonstrate basic proficiency in US accounting procedures, including the ability to create and organize balance sheets, P&L statements and cash flow forecasts.
  • Exceptionally detail oriented
    .
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus, but not required.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working in an international bank or for a leading export credit agency is a plus.
