Company Description:

We're currently working on a search with a nimble manufacturer and distributor to the food & beverage, personal care, cosmetics and industrial industries. Currently at an inflection point, they are about to move from a manual environment to one that is much more efficient through the use of business applications.

As a result, they are looking for a Systems Specialist to drive the implementation, adoption and utilization of their supply chain applications across multiple sites.

Position Description:

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, act as the liaison between the business and IT in rolling out tools to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain.
Working closely with external consultants, lead the MRP and WMS implementations across multiple sites.
Create and implement a process to maintain supply chain master data.
Develop training and utilization strategies to drive improvement opportunities in areas such as OTIF, Inventory DOH and other supply chain metrics.
Drive improvements across system implementation, system adoption and ultimate cost to serve.
Protect the financial performance of the business by identifying potential supply chain issues.

Background Required:

Highly energetic individual with at least 3-5 years of materials requirements planning experience.
An intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding supply chain system functionalities to be able to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
Analytical mindset to work through challenges.
Although not required, familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
Proven track record of success in similar role.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Miscellaneous:

$75,000 - $95,000 + bonus.
