Security Systems Specialist - Northbrook, United States - Lamarco Systems

Description

This role will be responsible for all technical aspects of servicing and maintenance of commercial security systems that includes low voltage security alarm, video surveillance, networking, and access control systems.

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers
• Troubleshoot and resolve CCTV, Access Control, Card Reader, Locking Hardware and Server/Programming related problems
• Complete all necessary service documentation in timely manner via electronic CRM
• Follow the service schedule via mobile device as provided by the Service Coordinator/Manager
• Deliver professional service and training to customers
• Participate in continuous jobrelated education
• Keep track of parts inventory
• Operate company vehicle in a safe manner
• Be part of oncall rotation schedule and work overtime, when needed

• Minimum 2 years' experience required in service, troubleshooting, problemsolving, installation, programming of Commercial Access Control Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems, and/or IP Camera Systems
• Manufacturer Specific Product Knowledge and Installation/

• Have a solid understanding of basic computer networking, hardware, and diagnostics, be able to learn new software quickly
• Valid driver's license
• Qualify for a PERC card from the State of Illinois
