    Description
    LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Processing Manager in Cumberland County, NJ. This position assumes responsibility for overseeing daily operations, methods, and technical training of employees within the food processing domain.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Ensure daily technical oversight of production operations in collaboration with the Plant Manager.
    Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and uphold processing control standards.
    Provide coaching to employees to maintain high work and safety standards while ensuring adherence to company policies.
    Safeguard a hazard-free work environment in accordance with OHSA regulations and internal safety protocols.
    Identify and analyze operational challenges, proposing effective solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
    Develop and uphold production and sanitation protocols, ensuring their ongoing relevance.
    Collaborate with training personnel to educate plant employees on existing and emerging processes and technologies.
    Evaluate the efficacy, cost, and safety of sanitation detergents, optimizing their usage.
    Conduct or supervise technical studies to inform the implementation of existing technologies.
    Coordinate and manage technological tests for materials, packaging, and sanitation products in conjunction with various departments.
    Foster close coordination with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to address technical complaints regarding containers and packaging materials.
    Maintain effective communication across departments.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Manage a team of 1-2 employees. Oversee employee productivity, providing constructive feedback, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops and review of industry publications.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent.
    Technical training in food technology/safety or relevant work experience.
    Minimum 3 years of experience in the processing.
    Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
    Experience in the food/beverage industry.
    Background in manufacturing or production environments.
    Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant computer software.
    Analytical and problem-solving abilities.


    Compensation and Benefits:
    $110,000-$135,000
    Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
