Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals Inc., is recruiting for a Market Research Manager

  • Schizophrenia located in Titusville, NJ.


The Market Research Manager for Schizophrenia is responsible for generating, integrating and translating insights into growth opportunities and tactics that shape decisions and drive organizational action within the Janssen Neuroscience Business Unit.


This position will partner closely with the existing commercial insights & strategy team and cross functional partners, while serving as an internal consultant to the Marketing & Sales teams.

This position plays a key role in advising and counseling business partners in the development of new and existing business strategies and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

This role will lead professional, patient and payer market efforts within the Schizophrenia franchise.


Responsibilities include:


  • Lead the development and implementation of primary research plan for professional, patients and payers including developmental research (e.g. segmentation, tracking studies, etc.) and evaluative research (brand positioning, advertising & promotional copy, creative development, etc.).
  • Provide strategic input to help shape strategic and business plans, brand strategies and new indication launch plans and life cycle management.
  • Partner across the Commercial Insights & Strategy team to integrate primary research (custom, syndicated, etc.) with brand/sales/payer analytics, forecasting & intelligence insights to drive strategies and organizational actions that have tangible impact in revenue or profit.
  • Be accountable for conducting research activities in a compliant manner.
  • Presents complex issues in a clear and persuasive manner effectively communicating recommendations to cross functional teams and brand team.
  • Stay abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies. Act with speed, agility and accountability.
  • Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships, adding value and insights for the organization; being insight driven to uncover important unmet needs.
  • Take personal accountability for making Credobased decisions and fostering a Credobased culture.

Qualifications:


Education:
BA/BS required; Advanced degree preferred


Required:


  • A minimum of 5 years relevant business experience
  • Proven success partnering across the commercial organization to translate market research and insights into meaningful recommendations
  • Experience shaping and influencing organizational decisionmaking
  • Strength in storytelling and developing effective presentations
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Strong learning agility and proven success solving ambiguous business issues

Preferred:


  • Minimum of 2 years market research experience
The base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program.

Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
