POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Global Strategic Insights, Mature Eye is a critical role within the Commercial Excellence team at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Vision, representing the voice of customers/patients, identifying market needs, and supporting product launches. This role is responsible for delivering strategic insights through quantitative and qualitative research methods to influence marketing strategies, business models, and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help shape and execute the Mature Eye learning agenda, across both our Surgical Vision and Multifocal contact lens business.
• Collaborate with marketing leaders to develop comprehensive learning plans to address knowledge gaps.
• Translate business questions into actionable study plans, choose appropriate research methods, manage research projects and deliver integrated analyses.
• Develop actionable findings from quantitative and qualitative research and analyze data to identify opportunities and implications for the business.
• Coach and train junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Operate as an internal consultant to business partners and build relationships with external partners/suppliers.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and improvement opportunities in order to develop optimal research approaches and solutions.
• Serve as a thought leader within the organization on Mature Eye related insights.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in market research/insights, including qualitative and quantitative methods is required.
• Strong project management skills is required.
• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity, think analytically, and prioritize work effectively is required.
• Excellent communication and client management skills is required.
• Experience with team management, leadership and/or mentorship is required.
• Insights leadership experience in vision/eye health, optometry, consumer-packaged goods, or medical device industries is preferred.
• Ability to influence cross-functional and management teams (Marketing, Medical Affairs, R&D) is preferred.
• Ability to understand, interpret and apply advanced analytics to tackle business issues is preferred.
• Position located in Jacksonville, FL; up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
