    Description


    Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a International Affairs Specialist to support The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) Chief Strategy and Resource Office (CSRO) in the S5P Directorate.

    This office is responsible for managing USSF's Global Defense Posture process and support to CSRO in coordinating USSF's OCONUS forces, footprints, and agreements.

    We are also responsible for supporting CSRO in implementing the Partner to Win Line of Effort, primarily through maintaining the USSF Guidance for Global Partnerships.


    What you will be doing:
    Develop strategies, policies, and resourcing guidance required to meet USSF objectives through cooperation with allies/partners.

    Assist USSF components in shaping international space cooperation efforts, senior leader engagements, and other forms of security cooperation in line with HQSF objectives.

    Support CSRO in meeting USSF responsibilities within the Global Defense Posture process.

    Provide USSF perspectives on annual Theater Posture Plans, assist USSF components develop Overseas Force Structure Change requests, maintain situational awareness of USSF's highest priority overseas initiatives across requirements, resourcing, acquisition, and operational communities.

    Will work with an array of stakeholders across HQSF, USSF Field Commands, USSF Component Commands, OSD, Joint Staff, CCMDs, and other Services to meet USSF objectives – must be able to understand and integrate competing priorities, champion them within various institutional processes within the CSRO span of control and empower other organizations when they are outside CSRO span of control.

    Broad DOD experience (mil, civ, ctr) at the strategic level that can be creatively applied to CSRO problem sets.
    What you will need


    Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in an Operations, Engineering, Analysis, Policy or Planning field, or equivalent experience/responsibility.

    Flexible to adjust to changing mission objectives.
