About this Role:
The role of the Quality Assurance Fee (QAF) Unit Chief in the Third Party Liability and Recovery Division's General Collections Branch is the collection of health care taxes and fees from providers which may include hospital, skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities, managed care organizations, and other entities.
Under the general direction of a Staff Services Manager II, the Quality Assurance Unit Chief is responsible for overseeing, planning, coordinating, and streamlining the work of the QAF Unit.
Duties may include access to information systems containing protected beneficiary information, including Protected Health Information (PHI), and personally identifying information.
