    Overview

    Group Health Customer Service Support Analyst Objective

    To act as a customer service support professional effectively servicing group health insurance offered by Farm Bureau Health Services, a division of Community Service Acceptance Company (CSAC) (aka FB Partners Group), including but not limited to, group health insurance and ancillary products offered by multiple carriers. To assist Farm Bureau Insurance agents and staff with quoting and servicing clients with employer health plans and ancillary products, and to assist with enrollment of employees into a plan. To maintain a working knowledge of health policies and products.



    Responsibilities

    Group Health Customer Service Support Analyst Responsibilities

    • Perform a wide variety of customer service functions to assist sales staff and agents in quoting, implementing, servicing, and retaining group health insurance and ancillary products.
    • Effectively utilize insurance and company systems, following established policies and guidelines to manage and respond to inquiries and issues.
    • Serve as a liaison with the insurance carrier(s) to ensure timely underwriting of policies and maintain current knowledge of the insurance carriers' underwriting guidelines.
    • Participate in training and testing programs as required.
    • Provide customers with detailed information about policies and products.
    • Process customer requests according to established department policies and procedures.
    • Provide timely feedback to customers through outbound calling, email, mail, or fax.
    • Train and educate the agency force in the technical information, products, and general questions applicable to the group health industry.


    Qualifications

    Group Health Customer Service Support Analyst Qualifications

    Required:

    • Associate's degree in business or insurance required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
    • Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Michigan Health Insurance License required, or obtained within 60 days of hire.

    Preferred:

    • Two years of experience in health insurance field preferred

    **Candidate MUST live in the state of Michigan.

    Note: Farm Bureau Insurance offers a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
