Description

**Position Purpose:** The Research Support Specialist collects, verifies and compiles detailed internal and external data used in further analyses to evaluate the organizations competitive product and services markets. Updates and maintains statistical and document databases and a library of competitive resources and information.
+ Searches for, and collects marketing materials and information on rates and quotes from a variety of sources, including the Internet.
+ Designs, creates, and maintains relational databases, and database tables.
+ Generates and updates standard analytical reports from spreadsheets and relational databases.
+ Prepares survey materials for competitive research studies.
+ Coordinates and administers survey projects.
+ Gathers and compiles data and produces reports.
+ Maintains document library and updated resource materials.
+ Accurately and thoroughly documents informational sources.
+ Supports marketing and product development research efforts.
+ Interfaces with customers and associates to gather information about data requests.
+ Reconciles data obtained through multiple sources.
**Education/Experience:** High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred; Formal training in computer applications such as spreadsheets or word processing strongly preferred. Minimum two years skilled office experience, including working in detailed databases and/or spreadsheets, preferably in a health care related organization.Pay Range: $ $31.73 per hour
Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
