Description

Our client is seeking an Electronic Engineer with expertise in Firmware to join their team in Luebeck. In this role, you will work closely with the team to develop and modify electronic components necessary for the production of diode-pumped solid-state lasers.

Key Qualifications:

Experience in firmware development for microprocessors, preferably on ARM-based 32-bit systems.

Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

4-7 years of experience in a similar role.

Familiarity with RTOS and microprocessor technology.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

Independently develop and implement firmware for ARM-based 32-bit microprocessors.

Continuously improve lasers and laser systems through firmware updates.

Implement new functions to enhance product capabilities.

Design and implement firmware for laser controllers.

Ensure optimal performance and reliability of products through firmware design.

Transfer existing firmware to new architectures.

Adapt firmware for compatibility with new hardware platforms.

Collaborate closely with the production team to provide firmware for electronic components.

Analyze errors and debug to enhance firmware performance.
