MRI Technologist


Job Summary:
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You
must have completed formal training in an approved school of Radiologic
Technology and maintain certification from the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists ARRT. Our ideal
feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure and coordinates with
the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.
You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for
extended periods.


MRI Technologist Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
  • Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic
imaging.

  • Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to
help them feel comfortable.

  • Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
  • Document all procedures while maintaining the
confidentiality of patient information.

  • Positions patients
accordingly which may include lifting or moving patients with limited
mobility must utilize safe patient handling.


MRI Technologist Requirements:

  • Completion of
formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains
Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT.

  • NYS license or able
to obtain one prior to starting

  • Two 2 Years' Experience
  • Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
  • BLS American Heart Association ONLY
  • MUST HAVE GE SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Injection certification preferredmust be willing to
complete upon arrival.

  • A patient and
compassionate disposition.

  • Team player who
can maintain a cohesive working environment.


Pay:
$ $55.00 per hour
